Community-University Engagement Dialogues
What is your vision of Community-University Engagement?
In the spring of 2017, we were pleased to bring together approximately 100 UBC students, staff, faculty members and community participants from all different fields and backgrounds in a series of three dialogues on their vision for community-university engagement.
The Community-University Engagement Dialogues, led by Dr. Robert Daum, were co-created by a diverse team of around 20 graduate and undergraduate students, community members, faculty members and UBC staff. The series covered three key aspects of community-university engagement:
- Community-engaged learning: What’s your experience? (June 15).
- Community-engaged research: Knowledge for a complicated world (June 20).
- Community-engaged campus: Connecting the campus to the community (June 27).
Check-back here at the end of July for themes from these rich conversations.
